Glance over to the right at my "Project 365" slideshow. You know, my plan to take a photo every day of 2010? To gain insight about myself and the world around me? The plan I've completely abandoned?
That's the one.

This guy seriously puts me to shame.  He took a polaroid a day almost every day from 1979 until the day he died in 1997.  That's a total of 6,697 Polaroids.  Polaroids, people.  If you've got a few minutes, check them out here, and read the summary where I first learned about it on mental floss.   You can watch his entire life unfold in a visual format.

This is so cool.  Just go to this link, upload some of your favorite photos, print the whole mess out, and you'll end up with a cootie-catcher type paper creation that cycles through the different photos as you alter its shape.  I know, I know, my description is NOT doing it justice, so just follow the link.  If only the printers in my life were not conspiring against me, I could print out one of my own....

Alright. I'm having WAY too much fun doing project 365 (taking a photo a day for a year) not to post the photos.  I'm pretty sure they're more interesting than anything I have to say.  Submitted for your approval:  a self portrait with a twist.

How fun is photography? Super fun. I'm a tad obsessed right now.  The evidence: I decided to do project 365, which involves taking a picture every day for a year.  Seems like it will offer some interesting perspective on 2010 by December, don't you think? I don't plan on posting them here on a regular basis, but this is today's.  Birthday flowers!
